I collaborate with the relevant people in the business to quickly uncover what is happening, get alignment to necessary changes and implement them, whilst ensuring ownership by the business. After a conversation to explore the business’s challenges and opportunities I draft high level work steps and deliverables. Once discussed, modified if necessary and agreed it forms the basis of the project plan. I meet the key stakeholders and people who will be part of the project and we get going.
My main tasks are typically to:
Create the project plan and direct it, working with each stream to shape and deliver the work.
Specify analysis and financial modelling (performed by the business’s people), guiding as necessary.
Review existing plans and ways of working.
Set up, prepare and run workshops, facilitating decisions and codifying the output.
Guide the development of business, sales and marketing plans.
Guide the development and implementation of new ways of working.
Act as sounding board, coach and mentor.
